Our Product Partner: DSH Systems Ltd

Easy to install, operate and maintain, DSH dust control systems improve health and safety standards for workers, mitigate the risk of dust explosions and help to save you money with cleaning costs.

By removing air from product, they also increase your storage capacity without reducing load times. In many cases, DSH Hoppers have increased loading times and efficiency, allowing loading into trucks, rail, ships and other containers from one feeding point.

The DSH (Dust Suppression Hopper) System is installed under a feed point where it can be suspended above the target and kept at operating level. A small degree of natural agitation as the hopper is filled helps exclude air from the material being transferred. At the point of loading, or transferral, the DSH system concentrates the discharge of dry goods as a solid column through free air into any target repository including trucks, rail cars, barge, stock piles, storage containers or bags.

The standard models require no utilities and have no internal moving parts while the top of the range PFC (Programmable Feed Control) system automatically configures the hopper for variable product weights.
The DSH System is designed for dry, granular (or gritty), free-running products.

Due to international customer demand, DSH Systems Ltd is constantly researching and developing their system to enable the efficient transfer of a wider range of products. Review our current Dry Goods List.

Previously, trucks taking on a load literally disappeared in the dust cloud. Uncomplicated to install and easy to operate and maintain, the DSH System reduces hazards, health risks, dust and wastage.

DSH dust control products come in many hopper sizes with varied loading capacities. The appropriate size will depend on your product type, bulk density and desired flow rates. Contact us to identify the best size for your product and application.

Why choose DSH dust control products?

Our hoppers were specifically developed to reduce and control dust when bulk loading dry, granular free-flowing products. The hopper is used under a central feed point. It condenses your product into a reduced volume stream, allowing it to fall freely through the air into any loading container with minimal dust.

How complex is installation?

All installations are specific to the needs of our customers. In most cases, our dust control products have been easily integrated into existing loading facilities with minimal downtime to schedules. Where site specific engineering is required, we develop a unique solution to ensure the system performs to your expectations.

Hoppers can also be built from different materials to suit your situation. Construction materials include polyethylene, Corten, Hardox, 304 and 316 stainless steel. The DSH system doesn’t require utilities and has no internal moving parts.
